Innovative Workforce Housing

One of the four ‘Game Changer’ projects in the Vision Action Plan, we know it is a vital priority for those who work in Bend to be able to live in Bend. We hosted a vision Summit with City Club of Central Oregon and the Partners for Affordable Housing on April 17, 2025, and are coordinating a ‘Build Day' with Bend-Redmond Habitat for Humanity on June 14th.

Neighborhood Vitality & Resilience

We have been working with Bend’s 13 Neighborhood Districts to further support grassroots civic engagement. We facilitated a Neighborhood Leaders Roundtable in March and are launching a Neighborhood Walks program with support from the Chamber’s Leadership Bend in June.

City of Belonging

In 2024, we co-created the HumanHub Belonging Project to bring partners together and researched existing gaps & needs through partner interviews. We remain committed to increasing community belonging and decreasing loneliness as members of the Belonging Alliance, coordinated by St. Charles.
